TWO PALE CELADON JADE CRABS
20TH CENTURY
The celadon crustacean is carved and pierced with large pincers and protruding eyes, the stone a pale even tone with minor russet inclusions. The other is similarly carved resting on a lotus stem, the stone with darker grey tones.
The larger 2 1/8 in (5.4 cm.) diam. (2)
Provenance
From a Private East Asian Collection predominantly formed in the 1980s and 1990s in Hong Kong.
