A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE CARVING OF A MYTHICAL BEAST

The recumbent horned animal is carved with its feet tucked under its body and head turned to one side, a large lingzhi fungus in its mouth, its facial features are finely delineated, the stone with cloudy white inclusions and russet striations.
