A CARVED IVORY RECTANGULAR PLAQUE
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The plaque is carved in low relief and stained depicting a moonlit courtyard scene, one figure plays the qin observed by another figure and two cranes amongst rockwork and trees, the reverse is carved with an ornate teapot and a blank quatrefoil cartouche.
