A CELADON JADE MOUNTAIN GROUP
18TH CENTURY
The boulder is carved to both sides with animals and figures engaged in various activities in a mountainous landscape with pavilions, pine and wutong trees, these include a scholar and attendant standing before two ducks in a stream and a man riding a buffalo, the stone is of an even tone with caramel and cloudy white inclusions.
7½ in. (19 cm.) diam.
