Tom Gallant manipulates layers of paper in a unique style developed
from his mastery of the traditional Japanese crafts of kira-gami and
origami. From afar his works strike the viewer as decorative, but are
highly crafted and potentially controversial when given a closer look. They embody a dichotomy: he creates these collages with pages taken
