A FINE ALBUM OF FRENCH MILITARY PAINTINGS, perhaps produced for Charles Jacquinot (1772-1848) who was then in command of the Dragoon regiments at Lunéville. The subjects shown include war games, a night patrol, a review at Lunéville Castle, and regimental uniforms. Jacquinot's name is inscribed on the Arc de triomphe de l'Etoile.
