Contemporary green morocco by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, the upper cover mounted with a mid-Victorian malachite-mounted gilt bronze plaque, with a central malachite boss raise on chased pierced foliage, the border with conforming mounts, the edge inscribed 'C Asprey, 166 Bond St, Exhibition 1851, Class 29, No. 50', the covers with green moiré silk doublures, gilt edges, the spine lettered in gilt, gilt edges (doublures browned near the edges, extremities lightly rubbed).
