FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED BY BRETON TO GUILLERMO DE TORRE, poet and prominent founding member of Spanish avant-garde movements, including Creacionismo and Ultraismo: 'A Guillermo de Torre, très amical hommage d'André Breton'. Les Vases Communicants is Breton's most intense work on dreams and Freudian interpretation. This copy a review copy, with the printed 'service de presse' [ie. 'S.P.'] mention on the rear cover, and in a fine case by Cambras which echoes the Ernst design on the covers.
