FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED BY TORRES-GARCIA TO SALVAT-PAPASSEIT, in Catalan: 'To my friend Salvat-Papasseit, courageous brother in misfortune'. A wonderful association copy, linking these two important figures of the Catalan scene, in a fine morocco case by Cambras. Torres-Garcia produced the cover illustrations for Salvat-Papasseit's 1919 collection of verse Poems in Hertzian Waves; while Salvat-Papasseit appears to have been involved in the distribution, and perhaps production of this, and other books by Torres-García. RARE: Americana Exchange records only one copy at auction (Artcurial, 15 June 2010, lot 487); according to COPAC there is no copy in institutions in the UK. Palau 336965.
