The obverse with Herakles wrestling Triton, their bodies intertwined, the nude bearded hero straddling the god's scaly fish-tailed body; the reverse with a winged Gorgon running to the right; rays above the foot, tongues on the shoulders, palmette lotus chain on the neck, a quatrefoil of palmettes, lotus buds and spiraling tendrils below the handles, details in added red
