From a grave relief, sculpted nearly in the round, sensitively modelled, turned slightly left, the smooth oval face with slender cheeks sloping towards the prominent dimpled chin, with full lips pressed together and drilled at the corners, the small almond-shaped eyes with heavy lids, the bridge of the nose merging with the gracefully-arching brows, the wavy locks covering the tops of the ears, the slender neck with subtle folds
