HELLENISTIC PERIOD, CIRCA LATE 2ND-1ST CENTURY B.C.
In the form of a rectangular naiskos, the pediment centered by a disk, sculpted in high relief, depicting a man on horseback to the left wearing a short chiton and a chlamys over his shoulders billowing behind, a phiale in his right hand, the horse stepping forward with its left leg, its head turned to its right, its wavy tail raised, a confronting dog and boar in low relief below, a rectangular altar at the center, a tree behind, a snake coiled along its trunk, to the right the goddess Cybele enthroned with her feet on a footstool, flanked by a pair of lions, wearing a chiton, a himation pulled over her head and draping over her shoulders and across her lap, her face framed by wavy locks emerging from below the veil, surmounted by a polos, holding a phiale in her right hand, a tympanum in her left
