Clad in a mantle fastened in a high knot at his left shoulder, the folds fanning across his chest, a baldric with stippled scrolling over his right shoulder, wearing a triple-crested helmet with incised hatching, his visor with a palmette at the center and volutes at the ends, surmounting two rows of corkscrew curls that frame his oval face, his head turned to his right, with heavy-lidded articulated eyes beneath gently-arching brows that merge with his prominent nose, his full lips parted
