TWO EGYPTIAN STONE RELIEFS
NEW KINGDOM, DYNASTY XVIII-XX, 1550-1070 B.C.
Including a sandstone relief, Dynasty XX, perhaps reign of Ramesses III, carved in sunk relief, preserving a bust of Ptah, holding an ankh, a djed-pillar and a was-scepter, the god wearing a cap-crown fronted by a uraeus and a flaring false beard, remains of an inscription above, reading: "Ptah, Lord of Lords;" and a limestone Amarna taletat carved in sunk relief with a trussed duck
Ptah: 5 7/8 in. (15 cm.) high; Duck: 9½ in. (24.1 cm.) wide (2)
