The neck on one side with Dionysos seated in profile to the right, clad in a panther skin and a himation, the fanning folds of the mantle weighted, a kantharos in his right hand, grape vines issuing from his raised left, the grape clusters outlined by incision; the neck of the other side with a maenad moving to the right and looking back, clad in a himation over a wide-sleeved chiton, a thyrsos in her lowered left hand, a snake in her raised right; rays above the foot, the handles ribbed, volutes at the joins to the shoulders
