The flat oval stone engraved with a standing draped Jupiter, wearing a radiate diadem, supporting his eagle in one hand out before him, and a scepter in the other, his thunderbolt and a star behind him, sheaves of wheat before him, on a short groundline; mounted as a ring in a modern gold setting
7/8 in. (2.2 cm.) long; ring size 9
Provenance
Colonel Keith Howard, Australian army and Chief of Staff for the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization, acquired in Lebanon and brought to Australia circa 1967.
