The inverted baluster ozier-moulded body reserved on both sides with a brown line quatrefoil cartouche enclosing small vignettes of figures after Watteau in landscapes, the base and top of the domed cover each with a lady in a landscape, the mount with a band of waved ornament, the interior fitted with a cylindrical chamber and an aperture for a small gold spoon, the chamber with a spirally-moulded gold cover with a scroll handle, the interior of the cover richly gilt (interior of cover with chipping to edge, box with minute flake or chip to shoulder)
