Kändler, standing before a tree-stump, leaning forwards with a wicker pannier with a fowl in a cage on his back and holding a trussed goat under his right arm, wearing a black hat, white shirt and red breeches with black braces, on a mound base applied with flowers and foliage (restoration to hat, right wrist, base of pannier, corner of cage, forelegs of goat and foliage, minute chip to nose)
