19TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AT BACK
After the Meissen model by J.F. Eberlein, he modelled seated on rockwork beside an open birdcage, holding a bird in his right hand and watching a crouching cat below, wearing a tunic with playing cards, puce-scale pattern, chequered and turquoise panels, pale-yellow trousers and white shoes with purple rosettes, on a mound base applied with flowers and leaves (very slight chip to petal of one flower)
