General Count Ivan Ivanovich Dibich-Zabalkanskii (1785-1830), in red-lined green uniform with red collar embroidered with gold oak leaves, gold epaulettes, wearing orders and decorations including the breast-stars of the Imperial Russian Orders of St Andrew and St Anna, the badges of St Vladimir, the Military Order of St George and other orders

Born in Silesia to a baronial family, Dibich-Zabalkanskii entered Russian service and fought against the French in the campaigns of 1805 and 1812. He was promoted to major general after the battle of Polotsk, and following the defeat of the Turks awarded the Imperial Military Order of St George (1st class) and the title of Count Zabalkanskii.
