A young lady, in lace-collared white dress with lilac surcoat, cream bonnet tied with white ribbon under her chin, the bonnet decorated with lilac wisteria; sky background
signed and dated 'Isabey 1807' (lower right)
on ivory
oval, 1 5/8 in. (42 mm.) high, gilt-metal frame with split-pearl surround, the glazed reverse with elaborate locks of hair, in later double-hinged brown leather case
