Of clipped arch form, surmounted with the cross, opening to reveal Archangel Michael, flanked by Saint Nicholas and Saint Vera, traditionally painted on olive green ground, within zigzag and dot border, the reverse inscribed in Russian 'In good memory [to our] Dear Squadron Rittmaster N. Khripunov From the lower ranks of the 3rd Squadron of His Majesty's Cuirassier Guards Regiment', further signed with names, marked on sides and back
