QIANLONG IMPRESSED SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The vase is finely potted with a globular body rising to a long cylindrical neck and terminating in a shallow cup-shaped rim, supported on a stepped foot. It is applied overall with a lustrous yellowish-green glaze with darker speckles.

This unusual yellowish-green glaze, lighter in colour to the teadust glaze, is known by its Chinese name as 'eel-skin'-yellow.
