A CARVED WHITE JADE 'SHOU' CIRCULAR PLAQUE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The circular plaque is carved in low relief to one side with a stylised Shou character within a medallion, surrounded by ten characters in seal script, Fushou tonghe pingyu ruizheng xiangan, the pattern repeated on the reverse side. The stone is of an even pale celadon tone with russet inclusions.
2 in. (5.1 cm.) diam.
