designed by Christopher Bateman, c. 1968, the rectangular 1in. glass top on eight uprights joined by stretchers -- 54in. (137cm.) wide; a chromed steel occasional table, the square glass top on square uprights joined by rod stretchers -- 17in. (43cm.) wide; another similar occasional table, the circular mirror top above a similar shelf joined by three square uprights -- 20in. (51cm.) wide; an umbrella stand, with four chromed uprights joined by stretchers, containing a black circular drip-pan -- 8½in. (21cm.) wide; a decorative mirror, with square chromed-metal frame enclosing a geometrically frosted mirrored surface, with label As Selected for The Design Centre, London -- 24in. (61cm.) wide; a black-enamelled and chromed-metal adjustable standard lamp; a matching white-enamelled table lamp; two other table lamps; and a selection of desk ornaments
