Lot Essay

In Thunderball, similar life rings are seen on the outside of the saloon on the bow section of Emilio Largo's luxury motor yacht Disco Volante. Largo's yacht had a significant role in the film, the ship had a number of hidden secrets including underwater doors, and the ability to break into two - the wheel house and bow section transforming into a fast-moving hydrofoil in the film's dramatic film sequence.
