CHEVAL BLANC
Famously well-proportioned with 57 Cabernet Franc (the remaining recipe of the plantings being 39 Merlot, 3 Malbec and 1 of Cabernet Sauvignon), Cheval Blanc is the undisputed leader in St.-Émilion. The soil structure is incredibly varied with gravel and clay meeting sand and sedimentary rock. The wine is aged for 18 months in new oak barrels.
