A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE CELADON-GROUND BOWLS AND COVERS
19TH CENTURY, BEARING 18TH CENTURY MARKS
Each bowl with slightly flaring rim, decorated with the "Flowers of the Four Seasons", prunus, chrysanthemum, lotus and peony, all covered in a thick, even celadon glaze. Each bowl is paired with a similarly decorated domed cover. Each piece with an apocryphal Qianlong underglaze blue six-character seal mark.
The bowls 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diam. (4)
