PROBABLY MURSHIDABAD, CIRCA 1830
Gouache on paper, each depicting a royal figure riding an elephant accompanied by servants and a mahout, folios creased and with some scuffing, mounted, framed and glazed, each with small inscriptions in black nasta'liq laid down in the mounts beneath the paintings identifying the figures as Firaz and Nur 'Ali Khan
