FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, number 43 of 950 copies. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY HAIG-BROWN on the half-title of volume one: "For Paul Mellon Roderick L. Haig-Brown 23/12/39."
