Mark of John Cuthbert jr, Dublin, 1715
Pear-shaped and on circular foot, the hinged domed cover with baluster final, the curved spout with bird's mask terminal, with wood handle, the body engraved with a coat of arms within baroque cartouche, the cover with a crest, marked on base and on interior rim of cover, the base with scratchweight 20=6
17 cm. high
610 gr. (gross)
The arms are those of King of Barra, Aberdeen impaling by others.
