Probably German, 19th century
Each retaining its original padded cotton lining, gilt brass and leather straps, apparently unmarked

Together with the front half of a Restauration steel cuirass, marked Manufcte Rle de Chatellerault, circa 1836 - 1848, struck with numeral 863 and various other marks; two various halbarts, 16th century style; four various sabres, 19th century; a hunting sword, 19th century; a brass and copper fireman's helmet; a Austrian brass horn, circa 1866, with royal coat of arms; another brass horn, 19th century; and a large English military drum, 20th century, now forming a low table (14)
