A Stourbridge engraved bowl
in the rock crystal style, cut with four oval panels engraved with bucolic scenes of sheep in meadows, a farmer ploughing a field, cows before a windmill and chickens by a watermill above lenses issuing fans of leaves, devided by beaded roundels below a shaped rim, the lower section stepped and fluted above a circular foot cut to thew base with a beaded roundel within lenses devided by a herringbone pattern -- 12¼in. (31cm.) diam., late 19th/20th century (minor chips)
