Although no fashionable dolls with kid bodies of this type are attributed to Steiner, this doll bears a striking resemblance to early Steiner Bébés with shoulder heads and bisque pelvises. The solid head, unpierced ears, sharp nose, short philtrum and bisque arms are similar characteristics. However both Huret and Rohmer produced dolls of this type with painted eyes and bisque forearms, but not with such a tiny mouth.
