Tasting note: First noted and much liked at a trade tasting in 1996. Very pale, certainly paler than expected; good fruit and depth; sweet, fat, full of fruit, delicious flavour. More recently, similar, bouquet particularly attractive, very fragrant, scented, orange blossom; light style but flavoury with somewhat hard dry finish. Will benefit from more bottle-ageing. Last tasted at the annual wine dinner at the Knickerbocker Club, New York, Oct 1999 ***(*) 2003-2020. M.B.
