Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1966 and its subsequent sale on September 8th of the same year.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public. The present watch is only the second known example in white gold.

Reference 3405 was launched in 1958 and was in production until the 1970's. It was cased in yellow, pink, or white gold, as well as in platinum.
