Lot Essay

This is a preliminary project for the poster for the 1924 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs. The typography is not yet resolved; yet the drawing has all the freedom, spontaneity and charm that can characterize such a sketch.

This work will be included in the Jean Dupas catalogue raisonné currently being prepared by Romain Lefebvre.
