The bowl with slightly flaring rim decorated to the exterior with dragons chasing the flaming pearl amongst clouds, apocryphal Daoguang sealmark to the base; the circular bowl and cover covered in an attractive blue glaze, the interior and base white, apocryphal Kangxi mark to the base
The bowl 2 5/8 in. (14.5 cm.) diam. (2)
Provenance
By repute, acquired in the USA before the Second World War and thence in the family by descent.

Please note that the mark on the bowl is not an apocryphal Daoguang mark as stated in the catalogue, but a seal mark reading "Qing jin tang zhi".
