MARK ATTRIBUTED TO JOHN LLOYD SENIOR (SCRIPT IL IN OVAL SERRATED EDGED PUNCH), DUBLIN, CIRCA 1780
The slat-pierced sides with pierced foliate scrollwork bands, embossed with laurel leaf swags, rosettes and birds, the front with shield-shaped cartouche engraved with crest of a demi-greyhound sejant, chased rocaille decoration around the upper and lower rims, lower edge inscribed with scratch-weight 11-5½
