A FRENCH PROVINCIAL SILVER-GILT COVERED ECUELLE AND STAND WITH KNIFE, FORK AND SPOON EN SUITE
MARK OF DANIEL IMLIN, STRASBOURG, LATE 18TH CENTURY
The écuelle with angular handles chased and pierced with chain-work decoration, the cover with pomegranate finial resting upon a pedestal above a silver beaded circlet, the spoon and fork of fiddle and thread pattern, the knife with partly-ribbed tapering handle and steel blade, all contained in the original tooled leather box with brass fittings and red velvet lining
