The front chased with the Egyptian Temple of Philae, the other side engraved with the name J.H Cornish surrounded by "C" scroll, diaperwork and floral decoration; together with a later example also by Crisford & Norris Ltd, Birmingham, 1912, chased with a stag with two fawns, engraved with the initials GE to reverse; also a similarly chased card case by E. J. Trevitt & Sons, Chester, 1904, with two lions in combat, engraved with the initials JARG to reverse
