The bowl with gilt rim and interior, the cagework mount chased with winged masks, foliage and rococo scrolls, plain tubular stem with spherical knop, the foot pierced with an undulating band of alternate small bead and lozenge motifs and chased with saints, angels and birds emblematic of the Holy Spirit, inscription probably in Greek and dated 1774
