Bifurcated figural handle terminating in a classical couple in an embrace which may mirror the scene depicted on the body, the spout and base of neck decorated with relief masks, a gryphon applied at front, the cylindrical body painted in shades of sepia with a scene that appears to depict Neptune's ravishing of the maiden Caenis, pedestal foot chased with classical torsos, masks and foliage
