The canted brèche d'Alep marble top above a frieze with foliate swags and centred by a female mask flanked by sphinxes, above a pair of glazed doors, each with a plaque of Venus and Cupid flanked by trailing vines, the interior lined in red velvet and enclosing three glass shelves, the angles headed by espagnolettes, on cabriole legs with paw sabots
