A patinated and inlaid silver ornament (okimono)
Taisho period (early 20th century), signed Morihisa and with inlaid seal mark Sen
Finely cast and patinated as Jurojin holding his staff with attached scroll and a minogame (an auspicious turtle trailing seaweed), accompanied by a crane, the robe and hood of Jurojin inlaid in gold and shakudo with cloud, phoenix and warabide (edible fern shoots) patterns on a matte silver ground

With wood box inscribed Ryoheika yori gohairyo Taisho yonen junigatsu tsuitachi Tokuin (given by the Emperor and the Empress to Tokuin on December 1, 1915) on reverse of the lid and with original lacquer stand
