The bottle is of tapering, ovoid form with two layers of the sandwiched glass enclosing swirls of purplish-red, white, caramel, and emerald-green.

This type of sandwiched glass bottle was produced in large quantities at the Imperial Glassworks as gifts to be distributed on festival occaisions. This is an unusual color combination, although no two are ever precisely alike.
