A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE SNUFF BOTTLES
Republic Period, 1911-1949
Each bottle is of rectangular form and painted with recessed panels containing scenes of scholars at various pursuits in landscapes. The outer panels, narrow sides and cylindrical neck are intricatly painted with various decorative patterns. The base is inscribed in iron red with a seal mark reading Juren tang zhi.
