A VERY FINELY CARVED RED-OVERLAY WHITE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
IMPERIAL GLASSWORKS, BEIJING, 1740-1800
The bulbous ovoid bottle is finely carved through the pale ruby-pink overlay to the opaque white ground with a continuous design of scholar's articles including a qin, an album, a tripod censer, a bowl containing a large finger citron, a weiqi board, scrolls, and a large vase with a ruyi scepter.
2 3/8 in. (6.1 cm.) high, coral stopper
