A GREENISH-YELLOW AND BROWN JADE BANGLE
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The thick bangle is carved in low relief around the sides with five small discs conjoined by double cords and reserved on a leiwen ground between narrow raised borders. The mottled greenish-yellow stone has some russet brown markings and veining.
3 5/16 in. (8.5 cm.) diam.
Provenance
Lizzadro Collection, Chicago, Illinois, acquired prior to 1960.
