A bronze figure of Sridevi
South India, Kerala, circa 15th century
Standing on a lotus base, her right hand holding a lotus blossom and her left resting at her waist, clad in a striated dhoti and richly adorned with various jewelry, the face with steady gaze flanked by large foliate earrings and surmounted by a conical headdress with locks of hair spilling over her shoulders, flanked on her right by a vyala
